1. Is Probiotic Miracle® just for sick pets?

It has been said that probiotics are more important than vitamins and should be taken daily! Senior dogs and senior cats will definitely benefit from probiotic supplementation  since healthy bacteria production is reduced in older age. However, puppies and kittens should include a probiotic supplement in their diets as a wellness program to ward off infections and reduce the chance of developing allergies. The intestine is your dog and cats largest immune system organ, help support it the healthy way with probiotics.

2. What makes Probiotic Miracle® the best choice for my dog or cat? 

Probiotic Miracle™ is a concentrated probiotic formula that combines the latest research and clinical studies into one powerful formula. 3. Will my dog or cat eat their food with Probiotic Miracle® added?

4. Are there any side effects?

5. If my pet is on medication, can I safely use this formula? 

It is safe to supplement probiotics with medication and RECOMMENDED ESPECIALLY for pets on medication. There are no known drug interactions and the ingredients do not alter the action of any medications. 6. I already give my pet a multi-vitamin, why take this formula in addition?

9. My pet is allergic to yeast and gluten, can I use this formula?

11. Is it necessary to refrigerate Probiotic Miracle®?

Probiotic Miracle® requires no refrigeration to maintain label claim potency. We guarantee 2 BILLION CFUs per 2 scoop serving at the time of expiration. Refrigeration or even freezing is not necessary but it will prolong potency if kept longer.

Why are there so many different types of digestive enzymes in Enzyme Miracle®?

Digestive enzymes are very specific. They will only digest the exact food type that they are named for. For complete digestion, you must have a specific enzyme to digest each type of food ingredient. Is acidophilus an enzyme?

No, acidophilus is a very beneficial bacteria that lives in the colon. It does aid in absorption of nutrients but it is not an enzyme and will not digest food in the stomach.

What is the difference between pancreatic enzymes, animal based enzymes and non-animal enzymes?

Enzyme Miracle® is 100% vegetarian and does NOT contain any animal based enzymes! Unlike vegetarian digestive enzymes LIKE ENZYME MIRACLE®, Pancreatic enzymes do not go to work right away. Pancreatic enzymes begin working approximately 30 minutes after food reaches the stomach. Because vegetarian digestive enzymes are stable in the stomach acid and bile, they can begin their digestive action immediately after the food reaches the stomach.

How does Enzyme Miracle® take the stress off my pet's pancreas?

The primary benefit from Enzyme Miracle® is in shifting a portion of the digestive burden from pancreatic enzymes in the intestine to fungal enzymes in the stomach. Continued supplementation over a period of days activates a feedback system to the pancreas, signaling it to decrease production of its enzymes. This allows the pancreas, primarily an endocrine organ, to conserve its "cellular machinery" for production of insulin and glucagon; which are important in blood glucose maintenance.

What are some short and long term benefits of Enzyme Miracle®?

The benefits will vary, but for the most part, pets experience less fullness after meals, faster emptying of stomach contents, decreased gas, less stool being passed, and more regular bowel habits. Most dog's systems work differently. Try different doses until the desired effect is achieved. Increase in bowel movements may occur. This is normal because these enzymes are very stable, and retain activity in the intestinal tract. After 2 or 3 days, the system will be cleaned out, and then less stool will be passed. This means that more food has been broken down and absorbed by the intestinal tract. Because of there is less undigested food in the colon when supplementing digestive enzymes, less bacteria is present and results in less gas and odor.

I feed my dog a raw diet, does my dog need digestive enzymes?

Assuming that you are feeding only 100% raw meat with no potatoes, rice or vegetables that needs to be cooked. We recommend reducing the amount of Enzyme Miracle® to ¼ to ½ scoops per cup of raw food. The benefit is, Enzyme Miracle® will replace the enzymes lost in freezing and handling of the meat. Then the enzymes over and above what is needed to digest the food will be used systemically to combat inflammation and joint discomfort. Those enzymes will also work on possible allergens such as pollen, dander, dust mite feces and more. It can also prevent a reaction with flea bite saliva.
